Customer Excellence: Manifesting your Consignments

We are making great strides to ensure our customers have a great overall experience when partnering with Nicholson’s.

One area we have been looking to improve is the information flow between ourselves and our customers, specifically in respect of customer  manifest details. Once in receipt of a fully completed manifest your consignment can travel with ease, having the full collection and delivery addres, pallet dimensions and weight, plus any additional service requirements, such as might be required for ADR goods.

To capture this information, we have created an Excel template; an example follows below. A copy is also attached at the bottom of this media note should you wish to download it and use it in the future. Alternatively, please feel free to continue with your current mode of sending your manifest to us.






The current process when we don’t receive these full details is to either contact you to discuss, or when out-of-hours we make some assumptions based on your previous movement history, this may not always be correct. To remove any scope for error or confusion once these details are provided, we should get it right every time.
